Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Wood Finishing Supervisor located in Moradabad. The Wood Finishing Supervisor will oversee the finishing process for wood products, ensuring the highest levels of quality within production timelines. Key responsibilities include managing teams, assigning tasks, supervising the application of coatings, stains, and polishes, and conducting quality checks. Additionally, the role involves maintaining a safe and organized workspace, troubleshooting issues in finishing processes, and effectively communicating with staff and management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in wood finishing techniques, including sanding, staining, and polishing
• Experience with production management, quality control, and team supervision
• Ability to resolve production challenges, including troubleshooting quality and process issues
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for ensuring workspace safety and quality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and management
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations
• Prior experience in woodwork or furniture manufacturing is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification in wood finishing or a related field is preferred
