Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a WIFI Engineer, based in Chennai. The WIFI Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing wireless network infrastructures, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing WIFI solutions to support robust connectivity. The role involves deploying, configuring, and maintaining network devices, performing site surveys, and ensuring high levels of security and performance for network systems. The engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable wireless coverage and assess emerging technologies to improve the company’s WIFI solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in WIFI network design, deployment, and optimization
• Proficiency in troubleshooting wireless network issues and conducting site surveys
• Experience with configuring and maintaining wireless network equipment, such as access points, routers, and controllers
• Knowledge of network security protocols and performance monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Relevant certifications, such as CWNA, CWSP, or equivalent, are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
