Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled VMware Aria Automation Engineer with strong expertise in cloud automation and orchestration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing automation solutions using VMware technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and design automation solutions aligned with best practices
• Develop, enhance, and maintain workflows in VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator / vRealize Orchestrator
• Integrate third-party tools and services with VMware Aria Automation
• Review existing workflows and perform code enhancements and optimizations
• Develop new use cases to showcase platform capabilities
• Identify and implement appropriate frameworks and integration strategies
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Contribute to the development and operations of cloud-based platforms
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in VMware Aria Automation and related technologies
• Mentor and guide team members on technical challenges

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Strong experience with:
• VMware Aria Automation
• VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator
• VMware Aria Automation Pipelines & Config
• vRealize Automation (vRA) & vRealize Orchestrator
• SaltStack
• Hands-on experience with:
• Workflows, Packages, Actions, XaaS
• Scripting (PowerShell, REST APIs)
• Solid understanding of:
• Automation & Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Certifications (Mandatory)

• VCP-CMA (VMware Certified Professional – Cloud Management and Automation)
• VCP-DCV (VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization)

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
• MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) / Bachelor of Communications

Soft Skills
