Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a VMC Operator based in Coimbatore. The VMC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs), reading and understanding technical drawings, programming CNC machines, maintaining quality standards, and troubleshooting as required. Responsibilities also include adhering to production schedules, routine maintenance of machines, and collaborating with the team to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating and setting up Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) and basic understanding of CNC programming
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Experience with quality control processes, including inspection tools and techniques
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and ability to work independently
• Willingness to work on-site in Coimbatore and adhere to production schedules
• Certificate or diploma in mechanical engineering or machining is a plus
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred
