Position: Full-Time Video Editor

At WrittenlyHub, we're not just redefining content; we're reimagining the workplace. We are looking for a passionate Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you'll ensure the highest quality in project delivery for podcasts, reels, and other social media videos.

You will handle the weekly editing workload for long-form podcast episodes and short clips for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Your goal is simple: turn raw recordings into clean, on-brand videos that are ready to publish.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit, colour-correct and sound-mix each podcast episode (≈ 35–45 min).
• Use Opus Clip to turn podcasts into social media clips automatically.
• Keep project files, b-roll, music and templates organised in the shared drive.
• Check every export for audio pops, jump cuts and subtitle errors before hand-off.
• Review clip performance with marketing and tweak future edits for higher watch-time.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ year of video-editing work.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve; basic motion-graphics or caption work (After Effects, Canva, etc.).
• Comfortable using Opus Clip to speed-up short-form editing.
• Basic audio cleanup.
• Ability to meet deadlines and act on asynchronous feedback.
