Reporting to: Creative Video Producer
Location: Bangalore (Work from office only)
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm

About the Brand Design Team
The Brand Design team is Vedantu’s in-house creative powerhouse - shaping the brand's
identity and storytelling across platforms and formats. From logos, videos, and brand campaigns
to digital assets, OOH, and social media, the team comprises talented graphic designers,
writers, filmmakers, editors, and creative strategists. We’re pushing the boundaries of how an
education brand is seen, felt, and remembered.
Purpose of the Role
We are looking for an Associate Video Editor to join our Brand Design team. The role will
assist the Creative Video Producer in editing and delivering high-quality video content across
campaigns, product launches, and social platforms.
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in video editing, a good sense of pacing and
rhythm, and the curiosity to experiment with AI-powered video tools to improve quality and
speed. You will play a hands-on role in shaping videos that tell powerful stories about learning,
success, and student life at Vedantu.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production
● Edit and assemble video content that aligns with Vedantu’s brand voice and storytelling
goals
● Execute post-production tasks including trimming, syncing, transitions, music, subtitles,
and basic sound clean-up
● Maintain consistent quality, pacing, and tone across all deliverables
Motion Graphics & Finishing
● Create and integrate simple motion graphics, text animations, and supers (as required)
● Ensure output formats are platform-appropriate (YouTube, Instagram, performance ads,
offline AVs)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Work closely with designers, copywriters, and social media teams to execute creative
ideas
● Adapt edits into multiple versions/cuts for different platforms, durations, and
requirements
Workflow & File Management
● Organize project files, maintain version control, and ensure clean handoffs within the
team
● Follow established processes for naming, storage, and delivery of assets
Trend Awareness & Tool Adoption
● Stay updated with video trends, editing techniques, and emerging AI post-production
tools
● Explore AI-assisted workflows (where applicable) to improve efficiency and elevate
output quality
Key KRAs
● Timely delivery of edits as per production timelines and campaign priorities
● Consistent quality in editing (pacing, storytelling, audio-music sync, finishing polish)
● Ability to create platform-ready outputs with minimal rework
● Smooth collaboration and responsiveness to feedback
● Reliable file management and version control for all projects
Skills & Qualifications
Must Have
● 1–3 years of experience in video post-production and motion graphics (EdTech, media
production, or advertising preferred)
● A strong portfolio showcasing edits (campaign videos, reels/short-form, ads, etc.)
● Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (DaVinci Resolve/ Photoshop/
Illustrator is a plus)
● Basic understanding of AI video/audio tools (Runway, VEO3, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, etc.)
● Strong sense of timing, sound, rhythm, and music sync
● Ability to take direction while bringing your own storytelling flair
● Strong collaboration skills and openness to feedback
Good to Have
● Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Filmmaking, Communication, or a related field
● Knowledge of sound design and/or color grading
● Curiosity to explore new editing formats, trends, and storytelling technologies
