Job Description - AVP I, Lead - Financial Reporting

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AVP Financial Reporting to lead the banks financial reporting function and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial closes. The role will manage reporting under IGAAP (RBI regulatory reporting) and Ind AS (group consolidation), oversee audit management, strengthen financial governance, and support IPO readiness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes ensuring accuracy of financial statements, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review IGAAP financial statements and Ind AS reporting for group consolidation.
• Act as SPOC for statutory, internal, and group auditors, managing audit planning, documentation, and closure of observations.
• Manage Related Party Transactions (RPT) governance, compliance, and disclosures as per Companies Act, RBI, IGAAP, and Ind AS.
• Provide oversight to Shared Services finance operations including P2P, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and operational tax processes.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and ensure accounting and audit standards are maintained.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
• Support IPO readiness, strengthen internal financial controls (ICFR), and enhance financial disclosures.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of IGAAP, Ind AS, and banking/NBFC accounting
• Experience in statutory & internal audit management
• Understanding of RBI regulatory requirements
• Experience with ERP/GL systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills

Educational Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory

Experience:

• 6-10 years of post-qualification experience
• Preferred background in Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, or FinTech
• Exposure to dual reporting frameworks, RPT governance, ICFR, and IPO readiness preferred.
