Job Description – Vehicle Tracking / POD & MIS Executive

Location: Sholavaram - Chennai

CTC: Rs 20K – 25K CTC per month

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive executive to manage vehicle tracking, POD collection, and MIS reporting. The role is critical for ensuring real-time visibility of shipments, timely documentation, and smooth billing support.

Key Responsibilities (KRA)

Vehicle Tracking

• Track vehicles in transit and provide real-time status updates to internal teams and clients
• Coordinate with drivers and transporters for location updates and issue resolution
• Ensure timely reporting of delays, breakdowns, or route deviations
• Maintain daily tracking reports and escalation matrix
  

POD Management

• Ensure timely collection of Proof of Delivery (POD) from transporters
• Verify POD documents (stamp, signature, date, discrepancies)
• Maintain POD tracker and follow up for pending PODs
• Ensure POD submission within defined TAT for billing closure
  

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare daily MIS reports (dispatch, delivery, pending POD, transit status)
• Maintain accurate data records in system/Excel
• Share reports with managers and clients as required
• Support billing team with required documentation and data
  

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

• Vehicle tracking accuracy & update frequency
• On-time delivery visibility
• POD collection TAT
• MIS accuracy and timeliness
• Issue/escalation resolution TAT
  

Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 or Graduate in any discipline
• 2–3 years of experience in logistics operations / tracking / MIS / POD management
• Experience in transportation or logistics industry preferred
  

Skills Required

• MS Excel (mandatory – formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot)
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills
• Attention to detail in documentation
• Communication skills (Hindi/English; Tamil preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
