Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling
Develop and maintain master project timelines and milestones
Define detailed project schedules across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing
Monitor project progress vs plan, identify delays, and drive recovery actions
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time deliverables
Lead project planning reviews and reporting
Cost Management & Control
Own project cost targets and ensure adherence throughout lifecycle
Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking
Analyze cost deviations and implement corrective actions
Drive cost optimization initiatives without impacting quality and performance
Ensure alignment with business case and financial objectives
Financial Forecasting & Reporting
Provide accurate cost forecasts and financial visibility to stakeholders
Track CapEx, development costs, tooling, and piece cost evolution
Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards
Support decision-making with cost impact analysis
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with:
Engineering teams for design-to-cost alignment
Purchasing for supplier cost management
Manufacturing for industrial cost control
Finance for budget tracking and approvals
Risk & Performance Management
Identify schedule and cost risks early and implement mitigation plans
Ensure trade-off decisions consider cost, timing, and performance
Support program governance and milestone readiness reviews
Governance & Decision Support
Participate in project decision meetings with cost and planning inputs
Ensure alignment of project timing and financial targets
Provide data-driven insights for strategic decisions

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of project planning tools and scheduling (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
Expertise in cost management, budgeting, and financial analysis
Understanding of automotive development lifecycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders
