User Research Intern

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented User Research Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations through various research methods. Your insights will guide business decisions.

The charter for this role will include:

• Conduct user research using methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather valuable insights into user needs and behaviors.
• Analyze gathered data to identify trends and patterns in user behaviors, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business, and Product teams to integrate user insights into the user funnel and optimize product strategies.
• Advocate for the user by presenting research findings to stakeholders and ensuring that user-centric decisions are made at every stage of product development.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in user research to continuously improve research methodologies and processes.

Ideal Persona would:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• Proficient in a variety of research methods and tools (e.g., usability testing software, survey tools).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present research findings to stakeholders.
