Fluidra Technologies Private Limited
Job Description
Product Designer
Global Design Team · Web & Mobile · Pune
Location
Pune, India
Team
UX/UI Design · Digital Products
Type
Full-time · Mid-level · 3–5 years
About the Role
Fluidra builds digital products for both consumers and professionals — from a B2C IoT mobile app that helps pool owners control their devices, to a B2B platform used by installers and distributors. Our digital portfolio is growing, and so is the design team responsible for it.
We are looking for a Product Designer to join the Design team and work embedded in product squads — contributing to web and mobile experiences depending on where the team's priorities sit. This is a versatile role: you will work across different product contexts, adapting to the needs of each team while maintaining a consistent design standard.
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Tech Analysts from feature kickoff through to delivery — contributing to the design process from understanding user needs and mapping flows to delivering high-fidelity specs ready for development.
You will report to the EMEA Design Lead and work closely with product and engineering teams across the digital portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end experiences across web and mobile products — from flows and wireframes to high-fidelity UI specs
- Work embedded in product squads, joining from feature kickoff and contributing to early-stage decisions alongside PMs and engineers
- Map user journeys and identify experience gaps, translating them into clear, actionable design proposals
- Deliver Figma specs that are ready for development — with clear annotations, edge case coverage, and alignment with the Design System
- Apply the Fluidra Design System consistently and flag gaps or inconsistencies when encountered
- Iterate on your work based on feedback from stakeholders, engineering, and QA — maintaining quality through to delivery
- Support design QA — reviewing implemented screens against your specs to ensure quality at delivery
- Communicate your design decisions clearly to product and technical stakeholders, explaining the reasoning behind your choices
- Support user interviews and usability sessions — helping to gather insights and contribute to design decisions grounded in real user feedback
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showing your design process across web or mobile products
- Strong UX foundation — comfortable with flows, wireframes, and interaction design before moving to visual execution
- Proficient in Figma (components, auto layout, prototyping, variables)
- Experience working with a Design System — applying it correctly and contributing to its evolution
- Ability to work across different product contexts and adapt to shifting priorities
- Comfortable collaborating with engineers and understanding technical constraints
- Clear communicator — able to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders
- Analytical mindset and openness to data-informed design
- English B2 or above
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for both web and mobile (responsive or native)
- Some exposure to user research or usability testing — having participated in or supported interviews and helped translate findings into design decisions
- Background in B2B products or complex multi-stakeholder environments
- Familiarity with A/B testing or experimentation concepts
- Experience with IoT or hardware-connected digital products
- Awareness of agile delivery processes and sprint-based workflows
- Curiosity about AI tools applied to design workflows — actively exploring or experimenting with tools such as Lovable, Figma Make, Claude or similar, and interest in staying at the forefront of how the discipline is evolving
