Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable US Career Counsellor to guide students and professionals in planning and advancing their careers in the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience in career guidance, higher education counselling, and a strong understanding of the US academic and job market.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide career counselling to students and professionals aspiring to study or work in the United States

* Guide candidates on career pathways, academic programs, and professional development opportunities

* Assist individuals in selecting suitable universities, programs, and career options aligned with their goals

* Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to evaluate career interests, skills, and academic backgrounds

* Support candidates with resume preparation, interview readiness, and career planning

* Stay updated with US education systems, visa processes, and employment trends

* Collaborate with universities, training partners, and internal teams to ensure successful student placements

* Maintain counselling records and track candidate progress

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, HR, or related field

* 3+ years of experience in career counselling, education consulting, or student advisory roles

* Strong understanding of US education system and career pathways

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to guide and motivate students from diverse backgrounds

* Strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Skills:

* Experience in international education counselling

* Familiarity with US university admissions and visa processes

* Background in student recruitment or education consulting
