Strategic Sourcing Manager

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for the overall commercial management of how the Company engages and spends money with its external third-party vendors. To meet increasing business and efficiency, the SCM team is looking for a candidate with strong experience in sourcing/procurement to engage stakeholders within business functions to support key priorities. The successful candidate will influence and execute sourcing activities in collaboration with various business functions and related support teams, demonstrating excellence in negotiating favorable commercial outcomes.

• Deliver effective and proactive stakeholder management of key leaders across assigned business functions by setting out clear strategies, developing strong partnerships, and innovative approaches to sourcing and vendor management aligned to the needs of their unique portfolio.
• Execute sourcing deals in alignment with HR & Travel category strategies, objectives, and supply chain targets.
• Collaborate with the SCM internal team in reviewing the pipeline, focusing on longer-term value creation (18 months) and ensuring that deals are constructed in a commercially sound, scalable manner.
• Take accountability for the end-to-end onboarding of vendors, including leading stakeholder management in relevant risk functions.
• Foster teamwork with the rest of SCM to ensure optimal support and service is provided to the assigned business functions.
• Contribute to the strategy and overall achievement of functional objectives of SCM, particularly in the areas of Commercial Value, TPRM, and Sustainability.
• Own the assigned sourcing strategies for HR & Travel comprising commercial, sustainability, and market aspects as well as channelling and processes definition in line with the SCBuy platform.
• Implement the sustainability agenda of the Company through specific strategies and category plans.

• Degree or equivalent qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Law.
• Previous experience working within Financial Services is an advantage.

• Strong experience in sourcing/procurement.
• Excellent negotiation skills to achieve favorable commercial outcomes.
• Ability to manage complex competitive sourcing tenders with high deal values.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management and the ability to engage with key leaders across business functions.

• Professional Memberships: CIPS or similar desirable.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
