Travel Consultant (IATA) (Nagpur, Maharashtra)

About Us: We are a growing travel management company offering domestic and international travel solutions, including air ticketing, holiday packages, visa assistance, hotel bookings, travel insurance, and corporate travel services. We are expanding our operations in Nagpur and are seeking an experienced, passionate Travel Consultant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle domestic and international flight bookings.
• Manage reservations through IATA/GDS systems and airline portals.
• Assist customers with travel planning, itinerary preparation, fare quotations, and ticket issuance.
• Process ticket reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and schedule changes.
• Coordinate hotel bookings, visa assistance, travel insurance, and holiday packages.
• Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and walk-in clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities.
• Ensure excellent customer service before, during, and after travel.
• Maintain accurate booking records and documentation.
• Achieve monthly sales and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with IATA/GDS reservation systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or similar).
• IATA/UFTAA Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidates without an IATA certificate are welcome if they possess strong practical experience in airline ticketing and reservation systems.
• Good knowledge of airline fare rules, ticketing procedures, and travel documentation.
• Familiarity with domestic and international travel requirements.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple bookings efficiently.
• Education: Graduate (preferred, not mandatory)
• Experience: 2–5 years in similar roles.
• Industry: Travel Agency / Tour Operator / Airline
• Language: English, Hindi (Marathi is an advantage)
• Location Preference: Nagpur or willing to relocate
• Immediate Joiners: Preferred
