We have an exciting opportunity on our team for a Transition Manager . The Transition Manager will work alongside the US & India Delivery Team in managing complex transitions within the services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the seamless transition of services, processes, from client environments or incumbent vendors to our organization. This role requires strong leadership, project management,stakeholder management, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing transition team.
What can you expect to do?
- Develop comprehensive transition strategies and detailed transition plans
- Define scope, timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies
- Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of service or process transitions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful delivery
- Ensure seamless knowledge transfer, process migration, and operational handover
- Oversee training, documentation, and stakeholder communication throughout the transition
- Conduct regular status updates, governance meetings, and executive briefings
- Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Monitor and report on transition progress, risks, and issues to leadership
- Ensure all transition documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases are created and maintained
- Drive compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
- Support post-transition handover and stabilization efforts
- Conduct post-transition reviews and implement lessons learned

- Proven track record of managing large-scale transitions across geographies and domains.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple transitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Excellent storytelling, documentation, and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence clients, including C-Suite executives
- Strong active listening skills and the ability to ask clarifying questions
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications, expert PowerPoint slide creation and MS Project
- Ability to manage multiple transitions in parallel
- Self-starter, demonstrating initiative and confidence, ability to self-motivate, and work collaboratively with others
- Ability to manage own workload, maintain deadlines, and prioritize / reprioritize effectively
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, and results-driven team environment
- Attention to detail in a metrics-driven model
- Ability to provide 6 or more hours of overlap with US Eastern Time Zone
What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in service transition, project management, service delivery or equivalent work experience within the procurement services function
- Experience supporting US-based and global companies and clients across timezones
- Worked within procurement consulting world
- Strong understanding service delivery models and ITIL, PMP/Prince2 methodologies (certifications preferred).
Location:
This role is remote based in India working as an extension of the US-based team.
