Hiring: Transaction Monitoring Analyst

📍 Location: Bangalore

💼 Experience Required: 4–7 Years

🕒 Shift Timing: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Review systematic Anti-Money Laundering (AML) alerts generated from transaction monitoring systems and determine whether transactions pose genuine AML risks.
• Perform detailed research considering various AML risk factors and indicators to decide if alerts or cases require escalation.
• Conduct initial analysis of customer transactions using internal and external research tools to assess transaction plausibility and identify potential money laundering activities.
• Identify suspicious or unusual transactions, non-compliant activities, or increased compliance risks.
• Accurately document the rationale for alert closure or escalation as required.
• Ensure timely closure of alerts that are not deemed unusual or suspicious.
• Raise RFI (Request for Information) requests for alerts requiring additional information.
• Determine if further enquiries are required and escalate cases appropriately for incomplete or low-quality responses.

Screening Criteria:

Candidates should have hands-on experience in:

• Alert-level or case-level Transaction Monitoring investigations
• Alert adjudication
• RFI (Request for Information) handling
• SAR Filing
• CTR Exceptions (Currency Transaction Report/Cash Transaction Report)
• AML investigations and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience supporting the US region will be an added advantage
• Exposure to regulatory reporting and interaction with regulators is preferred
