What This Role Is About
As a Trade Marketing Representative, you will play a critical role in driving in-market execution, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring excellence at the point of sale. This role is responsible for executing trade activities in line with journey plans, implementing merchandising standards, and acting as the key link between the business, distributors, and retail partners.
You will be responsible for ensuring optimal product availability across your assigned territory, executing promotional and merchandising initiatives, and delivering accurate, real-time market intelligence through CRM systems.
The role requires strong field execution, attention to detail, and the ability to build trusted relationships with retailers while representing the company and its brands with professionalism.
In addition to execution, the role supports business decision-making by gathering insights on competitor activity, distribution gaps, and market dynamics. Success in this position requires discipline, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to trade marketing execution in a fast-paced sales environment.
The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar trade marketing or sales execution role within a structured sales environment.
- Solid understanding of sales principles, trade execution, and merchandising standards.
- Hands-on experience using CRM and sales applications to manage journey plans, visit reporting, and on-shelf availability tracking.
- Strong market and city knowledge with the ability to manage customer territories effectively.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, shop managers, and frontline staff.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand customer and consumer needs and translate them into effective in-store execution.
- University degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Willingness and flexibility to relocate within the Kingdom as business needs require.
