Role Description

Automation Test Engineer

Experience

  • 3–5 years of hands-on automation testing experience

Must-Have Skills

Test Automation

  • Strong automation testing skills using:
    • Selenium WebDriver
    • Protractor
  • Hands-on experience in API test automation using:
    • Rest Assured or similar frameworks
  • Strong experience in Web UI application testing
Tools & Frameworks

  • Experience using:
    • Test Management tools
    • Defect tracking tools
    • Version control systems (Git)
QA Process & Collaboration

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Development, QA)
  • Experience contributing to:
    • Test planning and task definition
    • Effort estimation
    • QA status and progress reporting
  • Participation in:
    • Requirements reviews
    • Functional and technical design reviews
    • Test script reviews
Ownership & Execution

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Acts as the primary QA point of contact for assigned application teams
  • Comfortable working both individually and within a team

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
  • Experience in Agile / DevOps environments
  • Knowledge of additional API or UI automation frameworks
