Job Description

Job Title : Manager / Associate voice president

Experience : 8+ Years

Location : Navi Mumbai


Key Duties & Responsibilities :


  • Prepare, design, execute, and document test cases; maintain test case traceability matrix.
  • Generate test execution reports, defect reports, and retest after resolution.
  • Maintain test matrices, trends, and dashboards; coordinate testing activities.
  • Create automation test scripts and prepare test data.
  • Facilitate review and sign-off of deliverables; prepare SLA-related reports.
  • Lead and manage the testing team.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • 8+ years in testing with focus on Life Insurance domain: New Business flows, Policy Servicing, calculations.
  • Knowledge of database, automation, API, and performance testing; strong reporting & presentation skills.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Working Knowledge:

  • Insurance: Test individual/group products, regulatory compliance, calculation logic.
  • Policy Servicing & Claim: New Business, Underwriting, Policy Servicing, Claim modules, automation exposure.
  • Database Testing: SQL queries for data validation and integrity.
  • Defect Management: Track, report, and resolve defects.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance testing processes using best practices.
  • Test Automation: Execute automation JARs and create test data.


Critical Competencies

  • Manual testing expertise in Individual Life Insurance domain: New Business, Policy Servicing, Claim, Underwriting, Payment modules, payout computations, premium calculations, DB testing.
  • Team management, presentation, and reporting skills.
  • Automation, API, and performance testing knowledge.


Certifications (Preferred)

  • III/LOMA, ISTQB, Oracle certifications


Other Requirements


  • Experience with Robot Framework or Cucumber automation frameworks.
  • Agile methodology knowledge.
  • Cloud-based testing platforms, API & performance testing.
  • Familiarity with BrowserStack.
