Role Description The Tendering Executive for Electrical EPC Projects is responsible for managing the complete tendering process for electrical engineering, procurement, and construction projects. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai includes identifying tender opportunities, reviewing client specifications, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals. Daily tasks involve cost estimation, BOQ preparation, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with tender conditions and relevant standards. The role also includes maintaining tender documentation, engaging with vendors and subcontractors for quotations, supporting negotiations, and providing timely updates to internal stakeholders on bid status and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical engineering knowledge related to power plants, transmission, distribution, and automation systems (PLC, VFD, SCADA).
• The candidate necessarily should be Electrical / Power System Engineer.
• Minimum experience of 4-5 years as Tendering Executive for Electrical EPC projects.
• Proficiency in tendering processes, including bid preparation, cost estimation, BOQ development, and contract terms review.
• Skill in analyzing technical specifications, drawings, and scope documents for EPC projects.
• Experience in vendor management, quotation comparison, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements for electrical infrastructure projects.
• Effective communication, documentation, and negotiation skills with clients and partners.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP or tender management tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; prior tendering or EPC project experience is highly preferred.
