About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical SEO Manager to lead and drive our organic search strategy.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page strategies,
along with a proven track record of improving search rankings, site health, and organic traffic for large-scale
websites. This role requires a hands-on leader who can audit, strategize, and execute SEO initiatives while
collaborating closely with content, development, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits covering site architecture, crawlability, indexation, page speed,
Core Web Vitals, structured data, and mobile usability.
Identify and resolve technical issues impacting search visibility (duplicate content, canonicalization, redirects,
XML sitemaps, robots.txt, log file analysis).
Work closely with the development team to implement technical fixes and ensure SEO best practices are
integrated into site architecture and new builds.
Monitor website health using tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and
similar platforms.
On-Page SEO
Develop and implement on-page optimization strategies including meta tags, header structures, internal
linking, keyword mapping, and content optimization.
Collaborate with content teams to align content strategy with target keywords and search intent.
Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Off-Page SEO
Plan and execute off-page SEO strategies including link building, digital PR, guest posting, and
authority-building campaigns.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, bloggers, and publishers for backlink opportunities.
Monitor backlink profiles and disavow harmful/toxic links as needed.
Strategy & Reporting
Define SEO KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for leadership, highlighting traffic trends, ranking
improvements, and ROI.
Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
Lead and mentor a team of SEO executives/associates (if applicable).
Collaborate with paid marketing, content, and web development teams to ensure a cohesive digital strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in SEO, with a strong focus on Technical SEO, On-Page, and Off-Page
strategies.
Proven experience managing SEO for large, complex websites.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (as it relates to SEO), and website architecture.
Hands-on expertise with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs,
SEMrush, Moz, and similar.
Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and mobile-first indexing.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers and content strategists.
Prior experience in an agency or consulting environment handling multiple client accounts.
Google Analytics / Google Ads certifications (added advantage).
