Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior SEO Manager to lead SEO initiatives for multiple client accounts across diverse industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing data-driven SEO strategies, managing high-performing teams, driving organic growth, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, client management, and a deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and search engine algorithms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with client business goals.
  • Lead end-to-end SEO campaigns, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, off-page SEO, local SEO, and content strategy.
  • Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits and work closely with development teams to resolve issues affecting website performance.
  • Drive keyword research, competitor analysis, content gap analysis, and search opportunity identification.
  • Oversee website migrations, URL restructuring, and SEO implementation for new website launches.
  • Improve Core Web Vitals, website architecture, crawlability, indexing, and mobile performance.
  • Develop scalable link-building strategies focused on acquiring high-quality backlinks.
  • Monitor organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and ROI, providing actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present SEO performance reports, strategy reviews, and quarterly business updates to clients.
  • Manage multiple enterprise and mid-sized client accounts while ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with Content, Creative, Performance Marketing, UI/UX, and Web Development teams to deliver integrated digital campaigns.
  • Stay updated on Google's algorithm updates and emerging SEO trends, implementing best practices across accounts.
  • Mentor and lead SEO Executives and Senior SEO Executives, ensuring continuous learning and performance improvement.
  • Define SEO processes, SOPs, quality standards, and workflow improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–9 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an advertising or digital marketing agency.
  • Proven experience managing multiple client accounts and leading SEO teams.
  • Strong expertise in Technical SEO, On-page SEO, Off-page SEO, Local SEO, and Enterprise SEO.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and Looker Studio.
  • Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals, JavaScript SEO, structured data, schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalization, redirects, and website architecture.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms such as WordPress.
  • Experience with e-commerce SEO, B2B SEO, and international SEO is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Google Analytics Certification or other SEO-related certifications.
  • Experience using AI-powered SEO tools and content optimization platforms.
  • Exposure to CRO, UX optimization, and integrated digital marketing strategies.
