Technical Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong hands-on expertise in Java technologies to lead and manage enterprise-grade software development projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background in Java development along with proven experience in project delivery, stakeholder management, team leadership, and Agile methodologies.

This role requires a balance of technical leadership and project management capabilities to drive successful execution of complex projects while ensuring quality, scalability, and timely delivery..

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software project execution from requirement gathering to deployment and support.
• Manage cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and architectural inputs for Java-based applications.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope and business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Review technical designs, code quality, and application performance.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and documentation for leadership.
• Mentor engineering teams and support technical problem-solving.
• Coordinate release management and production deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Java 8/11+, and J2EE technologies.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, and Hibernate.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure.
• Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.

Project Management Skills

• Proven experience managing enterprise software development projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and project tracking tools.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and team management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
