Job Title: Senior Consultant - Java JEE & Spring Backend Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Java JEE & Spring Backend Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade backend applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL databases, and cloud-native application development.

Note: This role is focused on core Java backend development. Candidates with experience limited to SAP Commerce (Hybris) development are not suitable.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java JEE and Spring Boot.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Build secure, high-performance, and reusable backend components.
• Participate in system architecture, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Integrate applications with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and messaging platforms.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17.
• Excellent knowledge of Java JEE.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience developing Microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful Web Services.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong SQL skills with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Good understanding of multithreading, collections, JVM concepts, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS messaging.
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of SonarQube and code quality tools.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and application security best practices.
