Technical Project Manager – AI-Driven Software Modernization

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will plan, coordinate, and manage technology due diligence projects from initiation through completion. You will ensure each workstream stays on schedule, coordinate technical and business stakeholders, and provide clear visibility into project progress, risks, and deliverables. This role requires the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4–7 years of experience in project management.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technology due diligence, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), or software product and engineering environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe is a plus.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
  • Comfortable working with project metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in using Generative AI tools with sound judgment on when AI assistance is appropriate and when human review is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation through completion, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule.
  • Coordinate with technical teams and external stakeholders to keep projects moving efficiently and proactively resolve blockers.
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, and project documentation.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, document discussions, and track action items to completion.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating or resolving them as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Handle confidential business and project information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
