Technical Project Coordinator

Description

We are seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to join our Managed Security Services (MSS) team. The

Technical Project Coordinator will assist with project management and administrative tasks in support of

managed security and cloud services onboarding projects we deliver for our clients in the healthcare and

defense industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator & communicator, highly organized, and be experienced

and trained in the client-facing project management, information technology, and cybersecurity domains.

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, respond to client requests, and collaborate with project team members
  
  

to satisfy client needs.

• Support project teams in staying organized and delivering project tasks on time.
• Schedule internal and client-facing project meetings.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including project schedules and
  
  

project status reports.

• Maintain project information and status in our project management information system, Certinia
  
  

PSA.

• Create presentations for client-facing meetings, including project kickoffs.
• Support project management efforts to identify and document project risks and issues.
• Collect, format, and distribute meeting minutes.
• Support continuous improvement and improvement initiatives as it relates to project management
  
  

and the delivery onboarding projects.

Other Duties

• Act as interim project manager in the event of the Technical Project Manager’s temporary
  
  

unavailability.

• Support internal project efforts and initiatives.
• Present project information and status to internal stakeholders.
  
  

Experience And Educat Ion Requirement s

• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, information technology, information systems
  
  

management, cyber security, or another relevant field.

• 3 - 5 years of working knowledge in project management, ideally client-facing engagements.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in cyber security (preferably) or information technology.
  
  

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge Requirements

• Knowledge of and experience in application of project management best practices.
• Understanding of common information technology and cyber security concepts, including cloud
  
  

technologies.

• Familiarity with project management software applications, such as Certinia PSA.
• Prior exposure to supporting documentation-related and administrative project tasks.
• Experience supporting project managers with typical project management tasks, such as
  
  

communications and creation of project documentation and reporting.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be highly organized and collaborative.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior customer service skills.
  
  

Have or acquire one or more certifications in the project management, information technology, and

Cybersecurity Domains Including, But Not Limited To

• PMI CAPM, CompTIA Project+, PMI ACP, IPMA Level D, Axelos PRINCE2 Foundation
• CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Azure certifications
