Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager - Engineering Enablement to improve execution clarity, operational rigor, and cross-team alignment across the technology organization. This role operates at the intersection of engineering, product, and leadership, ensuring that work is measurable, releases are well coordinated, and teams are enabled to deliver consistently.

The role is ideal for a TPM who enjoys bringing structure to complex technical environments, improving release planning and execution processes, and enabling leadership with clear and reliable delivery insights.

Responsibilities

· Engineering Metrics and Execution Signals

- Define and operationalize engineering and delivery metrics such as predictability, throughput, cycle time, and quality indicators.

- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks that engineering teams and leadership can trust and actively use.

- Implement tooling to measure and improve engineering productivity.

- Partner with engineering leaders to ensure metrics translate into actionable improvements rather than operational overhead.

· Release Planning and Communication

- Drive cross-team release planning including dependency tracking and risk management.

- Ensure releases are predictable, coordinated, and clearly communicated across the organization.

- Own the creation and distribution of business-focused release notes.

· Technical Program Management

- Lead the planning and execution of cross-team technical initiatives.

- Maintain clear milestones, ownership, and timelines across programs.

- Proactively identify risks, trade-offs, and dependencies, driving resolution with the appropriate stakeholders.

- Facilitate planning sessions, team syncs, and retrospectives.

· Enablement and Process Improvement

- Design and refine lightweight and scalable delivery processes.

- Develop reusable templates, frameworks, and playbooks for planning, execution, and communication.

- Continuously improve how teams coordinate and deliver work without creating process overhead.

· Success Metrics

- Executive and engineering leaders have clear visibility into delivery execution and potential risks.

- Product releases are delivered on schedule and well communicated across the organization.

- Engineering teams spend less time on status reporting and more time building and delivering features.

- Metrics support better decision-making and continuous improvement.

Experience & Skills

Program Management Experience

- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or technical program leader.

- Experience operating within highly technical software engineering environments.

· Software Delivery Knowledge

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery practices.

- Experience defining, tracking, and improving engineering delivery metrics.

· Communication and Stakeholder Management

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to communicate technical progress and delivery insights to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.

Nice to Have

· Prior experience working closely with engineering or platform teams.

· Familiarity with tools such as:

- Jira

- Confluence

- Linear

- Azure DevOps

· Experience working in SaaS, platform, or enterprise software environments.

· Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools.
