Job Description

We are actively looking for Technical Operations Lead position in our client's PC business in Mumbai. A highly skilled Technical Operations & PC Hardware Specialist to oversee system assembly, quality control, and technical customer engagement. Expert in PC hardware, system building, and troubleshooting while ensuring the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency.

Job Title: Technical Operations & PC Hardware Specialist / Manager

Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities

Technical Operations & Quality Control -

  • Ensure the highest quality control standards for all technical work performed by the department.
  • Oversee assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of PC systems.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and technical methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
  • Establish, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all technical workflows.
  • Monitor and maintain strict adherence to quality benchmarks and operational standards.

PC Hardware -

  • Build and troubleshoot a wide range of PC configurations including: Small Form Factor (SFF) systems, High-end ATX systems, Multi-GPU systems, NAS and storage servers
  • Ensure hardware compatibility, system stability, and performance optimization across all builds.
  • Conduct system validation using stress testing and benchmarking tools.
  • Stay updated with latest hardware technologies, components, and industry trends.

Customer Technical Engagement -

  • Interact with potential and existing customers to address technical queries.
  • Provide expert guidance during pre-sales discussions and system configuration planning.
  • Work closely with the sales team to explain technical specifications, system architecture, and performance capabilities.
  • Assist in recommending the most suitable hardware solutions based on customer requirements.

Technical Support -

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, remote assistance, and on-site visits when required.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, configuration, and system-related issues efficiently.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective problem resolution.
  • Document technical issues and solutions for internal knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience -

  • Strong experience in PC hardware, system building, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven expertise in assembling and configuring high-performance systems.
  • Deep understanding of PC components including CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, storage, PSU, and cooling solutions.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and system issues.
  • Familiarity with stress testing, benchmarking tools, and system validation processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead teams and enforce strict quality control standards.
  • Strong awareness of latest PC hardware technologies and market developments.

Preferred Qualifications -

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering / IT / Electronics or related field.
  • 58 years of experience in PC hardware, system integration, or technical operations.
  • Experience working with custom PC builds, gaming systems, workstation builds, or enterprise storage solutions.
