Job Description
- Access & File Share Management
- File share access, permissions, and drive mapping support.
- Grant/Revoke access to AD security groups.
- Resolve network share mapping issues.
- Handle new share path requests.
- Active Directory Operations
- Security group membership updates.
- OU/Container moves.
- Group Policy (GPO) modifications (minor, reviewed).
- Service account updates (password resets, permission adjustments).
- DHCP & DNS Operations
- DHCP reservations and scope updates.
- IP reassignment tasks as per request.
- DNS updates
- Identity Lifecycle Management
- Onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Manager proxy access to user M: drives (time-boxed).
- Ensure removal of temporary access upon expiry.
- Directory Dependency & Change Support
- Validate AD-related dependencies during network/firewall change windows.
- Verify authentication/authorization impacts due to infra changes.
- Routine Operational Tasks
- Password resets & account unlocks (privileged tier).
- GPO updates & validation.
- AD health checks and monitoring (DC health, replication, DNS).
- DNS updates related to AD.
- Monitoring & Documentation
- Monitor directory services using enterprise tools.
- Document incidents, resolutions, SOPs, and runbooks.
