Technical Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Lead who will act as the primary technical owner and Point of Contact (POC) for our product.

This role demands a strong leader + hands-on engineer who can:

• Architect scalable systems
• Lead a team from the front
• Translate business vision into technical execution
• Ensure high-performance, secure, and optimized systems

• Lead and manage a team of 15–20+ engineers
• Act as the technical POC for founders and stakeholders
• Take end-to-end ownership of product architecture and delivery
• Define and enforce technical standards, SOPs, and best practices
• Drive execution aligned with product roadmap and business goals
  

• Design and oversee high-level & low-level system architecture
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure systems
• Lead decisions on:
• System design
• Data architecture
• Infrastructure scaling
• Optimize systems for performance (millisecond-level improvements)
  

• Actively contribute to backend/system-level development when required
• Ensure best practices in:
• Code quality
• CI/CD pipelines
• Deployment & rollback strategies
• Oversee:
• Production systems
• Debugging critical issues
• Performance optimization
  

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS ecosystem)
• Work with tools/services such as:
• EC2, ECS, EKS, S3
• RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Redis (caching layer)
• Implement:
• Logging (ELK Stack)
• Monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost optimization
  

• Strong understanding of:
• DBMS concepts (Normalization, Indexing, Integrity, Redundancy)
• Data pipelines & large-scale data systems
• Design efficient schemas and data flows for fintech use cases
  

• Knowledge of:
• Application & cloud security
• Network fundamentals
• OS-level understanding
• Security layers (end-to-end system protection)
• Ensure secure system design and compliance readiness
  

• Translate founder/business requirements into technical execution plans
• Collaborate with:

• 5+ years in software engineering
• Prior experience as a Tech Lead managing 15–20+ engineers
