Technical Delivery Team Manager

We are seeking a Delivery Manager who owns end-to-end delivery outcomes across multiple technology programs, ensuring predictable execution, high-quality releases, and strong business alignment. This role goes beyond project coordination and requires driving delivery accountability across scope, timelines, financials, and engineering outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings prior hands-on development or technical leadership experience and is capable of actively participating in technical discussions with architects and engineering teams. While not responsible for making technical decisions, the Delivery Manager is expected to understand system design, dependencies, and trade-offs across backend, frontend, and UX layers to identify risks early and ensure execution feasibility.

You will operate in a multi-project, multi-client environment, leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders across delivery, engineering, and business functions. Success in this role requires strong delivery governance, commercial awareness, and the ability to drive alignment between client expectations and engineering realities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes across a portfolio of 4–8 projects, ensuring predictable execution, high-quality releases, and alignment with financial and business objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, UI/UX, DevOps) to drive execution, while actively participating in technical discussions to understand design decisions, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Own client relationships including expectation management, scope control, and commercial alignment; proactively address escalations and confidently push back on misaligned demands.
• Establish and enforce delivery , ,governance frameworks, ensuring strong execution discipline through effective sprint management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, HR, Finance, and COEs to ensure alignment between project execution and business goals.
• Own project financials including revenue, margin, cost control, and forecasting accuracy; proactively identify and address risks to profitability and resource efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Coditas’ standards and external frameworks (ISO27001, GDPR, HIPAA as needed).
• Own delivery inputs in pre-sales, including estimation, solution feasibility, and SoW validation, ensuring commitments are realistic, clearly defined, and aligned with execution capabilities
• Foster team development through mentoring, performance reviews, and knowledge-sharing culture.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices by adopting modern tools and approaches, including AI-assisted development, automation, and process optimization to enhance team productivity and delivery efficiency.
• Track and improve key delivery and engineering metrics such as cycle time, defect leakage, release frequency, and predictability
• Identify at-risk projects early and lead recovery strategies, including re-planning, stakeholder realignment, and execution course correction.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10-14 years of experience in IT project/delivery management, with hands-on exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models.
• Proven track record of client-facing delivery ownership across multiple technology stacks (web/mobile/cloud).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience in handling CXO-level conversations.
• Demonstrated experience in financial management of projects—effort tracking, scope change management, billing, and profitability optimization.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance management, capability growth, and retention.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Zoho Projects, Git, Figma, and Google Workspace tools.
• Familiarity with quality assurance practices, engineering excellence frameworks, and CI/CD adoption.
• Certifications like PMP, CSM, ITIL, SAFe or equivalent.

Good to have:

• Experience working in regulated industries like FinTech or HealthTech.
• Prior experience as a tech lead or developer (e.g., Node.js, Angular, React, Flutter, Java, .Net).
