Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager – Veeva to lead platform configuration, governance, and delivery for Veeva Vault applications within Digital R&D. This role requires deep expertise in Veeva Vault along with strong leadership capabilities to manage delivery teams, drive configuration excellence, and ensure compliance within regulated (GxP) environments.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Governance & Configuration

• Manage Veeva Vault platform configurations and governance for Clinical or Regulatory Vault environments
• Ensure compliance with GxP regulations, validation standards, and data integrity requirements
• Oversee Veeva documentation management processes and configuration governance

Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Coordinate with Technical Service Owners, Business System Owners, and Product Line Owners to align delivery with business objectives
• Partner with Scrum Masters, product teams, and business stakeholders to define configuration strategies and ensure regulatory alignment
• Provide expert guidance for critical incidents and major platform changes

Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and manage support teams, vendors, and contractors supporting Veeva platforms
• Mentor and guide configuration engineers and DevOps specialists, fostering a culture of technical excellence
• Drive training programs and support Key User enablement initiatives

Release Management & Continuous Improvement

• Assess the impact of Veeva product releases (three times annually) and plan remediation or upgrade strategies
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, architecture decisions, and processes using JIRA, Confluence, and validated repositories
• Drive improvements in configuration governance, automation, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with Veeva and strategic partners to adopt best practices and new platform capabilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in Veeva Vault configuration and administration within regulated (GxP) environments
• 3–5 years of leadership or technical delivery management experience
• Mandatory Veeva Certification in one or more Vault applications (RIM, Quality, Clinical, Commercial)
• Deep expertise in Vault configuration components including lifecycle, workflows, objects, security models, and SDKs
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, release management, and change control processes
• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within healthcare or life sciences organizations
• Strong stakeholder management and consultative communication skills
• Ability to lead complex technical discussions and influence senior stakeholders across technical and business teams
