Job Description

Key Responsibilities 🔹 Implementation & Configuration

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion FAH.
  • Configure Subledger Accounting (SLA), event models, journal entry rules, account derivation rules, and mapping sets.
  • Set up and manage transaction sources and source system integrations.
  • Configure accounting methods and ledger setups.

🔹 Requirement Gathering & Solution Design

  • Conduct workshops with finance and business teams.
  • Translate business requirements into accounting configurations.
  • Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
  • Provide best practice recommendations.

🔹 Integration & Data Management

  • Design and validate inbound integrations (FBDI, APIs, file-based loads).
  • Work closely with technical teams on data mapping and transformation.
  • Perform reconciliation between source systems and General Ledger.

🔹 Testing & Deployment

  • Lead SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles.
  • Support data migration and cutover activities.
  • Troubleshoot accounting and posting issues.

🔹 Post-Go-Live Support

  • Provide production support and issue resolution.
  • Assist in period-end close and reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP).

Required Skills & Qualifications ✔ Functional Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Oracle Fusion FAH
    • Subledger Accounting (SLA)
    • General Ledger (GL)
  • Experience designing accounting rules and derivation logic.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting.
✔ Technical Understanding

  • Knowledge of FBDI, REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with integrations from third-party systems.

✔ Experience

  • 5+ years in Oracle Financials.
  • At least 2+ full lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations.
  • Experience in FAH implementation preferred.

✔ Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
