Job Description

We have partnered with a deeply established and local client in search of a Technical Business Analyst who will play a crucial role in enhancing their business processes and driving efficiency within our client's organization. This position involves collaborating with various departments to gather and document business requirements, analyze and model processes, and provide data-driven insights and KPIs to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities, including proficiency in modeling and analysis tools, understanding of improvement methods, and excellent documentation skills. The Technical Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders and departments to identify their needs and requirements.
  • Support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency using industry standard analytical tools and methods.
  • Analyze business processes and operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with leadership on research and development for new technology applications.
  • Collaborate with Data and Innovation team on enterprise data and integration initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing client support for processes and tools including but not limited to SOPs, Work Instructions, and other ancillary documentation.
  • Provide valuable insights and share findings with decision-makers to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Demonstrate initiative and sense of urgency in not only completing assigned work but being proactive in initiating creative thought to improve processes and solve problems.
  • Promptly communicate any potential problems, incidents or occurrences affecting the daily operations and management of the department to your immediate supervisor.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to improve job related skills, be responsive to directions, accept constructive feedback and show flexibility and creativity in completing work assignments.
  • Accept and perform additional job duties, assignments or projects as directed by your immediate supervisor or management for the betterment of the Company.

  • Excellent skills with analytical tools with the ability to quickly learn and leverage new tools as necessary.
  • Proficient with Smartsheet and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Curious, possessing a growth mindset, especially as relates to understanding and meeting client/project requirements.
  • Ability to work under the pressures of time constraints in a fast-paced work environment.


Education & Work Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification in some level of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of business or data analysis experience.
  • Remain current on the latest technology regarding essential functions of the position.
  • Possess and maintain certifications as may be required by the company and/or supervisor.


Job Conditions:

  • Demanding, fast-paced work environment.
  • Full-time position (40+ hrs./week) with work hours generally Monday through Friday with flexibility in work schedule for start and finish times as determined by supervisor as well as occasional overtime as necessary including nights and/or weekends.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and regularly bend, crawl, climb and squat.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stand and sit at a desk all for extended periods of time.
  • Inside average office environment with average noise levels.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
  • Maintain an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).
  • Local and/or national travel required
