Job Title: Team Lead – US Billing & Invoicing

Location: Pune, India

CTC: Up to ₹12 LPA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Team Lead for US Billing & Invoicing to oversee end-to-end billing operations for our US clients. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in billing processes, team management experience, and a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the US Billing & Invoicing team, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing
• Oversee end-to-end billing cycles including invoice generation, validation, and dispatch
• Ensure compliance with US billing standards, client contracts, and SLAs
• Handle escalations related to billing discrepancies, disputes, and client queries
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and quality metrics
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and identify process improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Accounts Receivable, Finance, and Operations
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency enhancements
• Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and performance insights to management
• Train, mentor, and develop team members

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 4–7 years of experience in US Billing/Invoicing with at least 1–2 years in a team lead role
• Strong understanding of US billing processes, contracts, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in billing systems/ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in handling large-volume transactions
• Exposure to automation tools or process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma)
• Prior experience working with US clients or in a global delivery environment
