We are looking for a seasoned Talent Management & Learning & Development Specialist with 15-20 years of experience to lead the development and execution of talent management and L&D strategies across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in developing leadership capabilities, managing succession planning, and ensuring the effective implementation of learning and development initiatives. This role requires someone with a proven track record of managing complex talent management programs, fostering a learning culture, and driving employee engagement through training and development. The candidate will work closely with senior leadership, HR teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that our talent pool is continuously developing and aligned with our long-term goals.



Responsibilities


Talent Management Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the design and execution of comprehensive talent management strategies to drive high performance, employee engagement, and leadership development across the organization.
  • Manage the succession planning process for key leadership and critical roles, ensuring a pipeline of talent for the future.
  • Oversee performance management programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and individual development plans.
  • Develop and implement talent assessments, leadership competencies, and career progression frameworks to support employee growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify current and future talent needs and design programs that support long-term organizational goals.


Learning & Development (L&D) Initiatives

  • Lead the development of a learning and development strategy that focuses on building both technical and leadership skills in alignment with business priorities.
  • Design and implement impactful L&D programs that support employee growth, skill development, and organizational capabilities.
  • Champion the creation of a learning culture within the organization, fostering continuous development and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage the delivery of leadership development programs, including executive coaching, management training, and high-potential development programs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and HR teams to customize L&D solutions for specific business needs, addressing gaps in skillsets and competencies.


Leadership Development & Employee Engagement

  • Design and manage leadership development initiatives to strengthen leadership capabilities at various levels, from front-line supervisors to senior executives.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives through targeted L&D programs, feedback mechanisms, and career development opportunities.
  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders in identifying and developing high-potential talent, ensuring readiness for future leadership roles.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to senior leaders, ensuring alignment between personal development goals and organizational needs.


Stakeholder Collaboration & HR Integration

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, senior leadership, and hiring managers to ensure alignment between talent management strategies and business goals.
  • Support talent assessment processes, such as 360-degree feedback, competency mapping, and internal talent reviews, to ensure the right talent is in the right roles.
  • Partner with other HR functions (e.g., Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits) to integrate talent management and L&D initiatives across the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Provide expertise and insights to HR teams on how to optimize the performance management process, career development, and succession planning.


Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Design and track key metrics related to talent management and L&D initiatives, such as participation rates, engagement levels, and development outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the effectiveness and impact of talent management and L&D programs.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine talent management strategies and L&D programs based on feedback, metrics, and evolving business needs.
  • Lead initiatives to improve the learning experience, leveraging digital learning platforms, external training providers, and innovative delivery methods.


Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure all talent management and L&D programs are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging trends in talent management and L&D, and innovations in leadership development.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant frameworks, certifications, and methodologies for talent management and L&D, including 9-box grids, 360-degree feedback, and leadership assessments.


Qualifications


Experience:

  • 15-20 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or HR roles, ideally within agrochemical, chemical, manufacturing, or recruitment consulting sectors.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing leadership development, succession planning, and performance management programs at an enterprise level.
  • In-depth experience with employee engagement, learning culture, and talent development initiatives.
  • Strong background in partnering with senior leadership to align talent management strategies with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional HR projects and driving change across large organizations.


Required Skills


  • Excellent knowledge of leadership development, talent management frameworks, and learning methodologies.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to influence at senior levels of the organization.
  • High proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), HRIS platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making and measuring the effectiveness of talent management and L&D programs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of executing large-scale, multi-faceted programs.


Preferred Skills


  • Master’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in L&D, Talent Management, or Coaching (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
