A Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist is a strategic HR professional responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding top talent to meet an organization's long-term staffing needs. Unlike traditional recruiters, they focus on building talent pipelines, enhancing employer branding, and collaborating with hiring managers on strategic workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Strategic Sourcing: Using LinkedIn, social media, and job boards to build talent pipelines for current and future roles.
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Managing the entire hiring process, from defining role criteria with managers to offering, negotiating, and onboarding.
- Candidate Experience: Acting as a brand ambassador to provide a positive, professional experience for applicants.
- Relationship Management: Partnering with stakeholders to understand department needs and ensure diverse, qualified hiring.
- Data & Compliance: Maintaining Applicant Tracking System (ATS) records, analyzing metrics, and ensuring legal compliance.
