Role: As System Administrator III Citrix, you are responsible for performing Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix infrastructure systems within a business. Analyzes and resolves problems associated with the Citrix infrastructure system's servers, hardware, applications, and software. Detects, diagnoses, and reports application and VDI related problems.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Citrix XenApp/Desktop 7.15
  • Strong background in Citrix administration and understanding of scripting.
  • Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp and XenDesktop. Have performed Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation.
  • Performance tuning and optimizing server configurations for specific workloads.
  • Client-side configuration of XenApp/Desktop and troubleshoot various user issues.
  • Strong knowledge in Provisioning Services (PVS) with versioning, Machine Creation Services (MCS)
  • XenDesktop including Delivery Controllers, Provisioning Services, StoreFront servers Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high-quality environment.
  • Strong understanding of Load Manager, Resource manager, Citrix Patch Management
  • Good understanding on VDI technologies Azure Virtual Desktop &W365
  • Operations and Deployment knowledge on Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Hands on experience in implementing and supporting of AVD with DR
  • Good skills on windows client and Server OS, Azure image Gallery.Creating and customization of images
  • Configure and deploy FSLOGIX and required infra in AVD
  • User profile management in AVD
  • Configure Optimization & Security features in AVD
  • Troubleshooting AVD related issues and BAU support
  • Good understanding of Incident, Change, Problem Management process and provide the RCAs on P1 tickets.
  • Effectively lead detailed technical discussions develop, and present required briefing Materials to ensure the customer’s needs met.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of technical experience in corporate IT operations in Data Center Environment.
  • Independent problem solver and self‐starter. Strong documentation abilities necessary to ensure timely problem resolution.
  • Leading projects to implement new Citrix solutions
  • Should have experience working in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop and AVD.
  • Good Knowledge of ITIL processes and implementation
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Always driving for continuous improvement across domains
  • VDI build Experience (Virtual).
  • Desired Certifications: CCA-V CCE-V, CCP-V, VMware VCP, ITIL
