Our technology services client is seeking multiple Symitar PowerOn Developer to join their team on a contract basis. These positions offer a strong potential for conversion to full-time employment upon completion of the initial contract period. Below are further details about the role: Role: Symitar PowerOn Developer Experience: 5+ Years Location: Pune Notice Period: Immediate- 15 Days Mandatory Skills: Symitar Episys, PowerOn, Sym Connect, SymXchange, Credit / Banking operations Job Description: The Symitar Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of applications, automations, and reports within the Symitar Episys core processing system . This role leverages PowerOn, SymConnect, and SymXchange to support integrations, improve system efficiency, and enhance the member experience. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy PowerOn programs , reports, and batch processes in the Symitar Episys environment. Maintain and enhance existing core system customizations to meet business needs. Integrate Symitar with third-party platforms via SymConnect , SymXchange , and other API/web service tools . Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Support core upgrades, conversions, and patch implementations. Develop automation for operational and back-office processes. Create and maintain documentation for scripts, APIs, and integrations. Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution and support. Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards. Required Qualifications: Total 5+ years of experience. Minimum 2+ years in Symitar Episys core system development . Proficiency in PowerOn programming and jBase or other multi-value databases. Hands-on experience with SymConnect and/or SymXchange integrations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Familiarity with credit union or banking operations and terminology. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Jack Henry products and financial technology ecosystems. Knowledge of SQL , REST/SOAP APIs , and scripting languages (e.g., Python , JavaScript ).
