Position Overview:

We are hiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Verilog and Hardware Design to assist in the development and fine-tuning of Large Language Models (LLMs) for chip design automation. In this role, you will be instrumental in teaching and guiding the AI system to understand and generate chip design code (specifically Verilog). You will provide critical domain expertise, help prepare training data, validate AI-generated designs, and ensure that the outputs meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Training Data: Supply real-world Verilog code examples, design patterns, and best practices for training the LLMs.
• Validate AI Outputs: Review and validate AI-generated Verilog code to ensure correctness and adherence to chip design standards.
• Annotate Datasets: Label and annotate chip design datasets, including both functional and non-functional design aspects.
• Review and Correct AI Designs: Assess AI-generated hardware designs and suggest improvements or corrections to align with industry standards.
• Model Fine-tuning: Provide domain expertise for the fine-tuning of AI models, ensuring they accurately understand and generate chip designs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with AI developers and engineers to continuously improve model performance and ensure high-quality output.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Expertise in Verilog: In-depth knowledge of Verilog, including digital circuit design and verification techniques.
• Chip Design Experience: Strong background in chip design, including experience with FPGA, ASIC design, and verification.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM Fine-tuning: While prior experience with AI/LLM is not required, an understanding of how to adapt or fine-tune AI models in specialized domains is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to review and correct complex hardware designs generated by AI.
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain and document complex design patterns and code for training and validation purposes.
• Remote Work Experience: Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and managing tasks independently.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹4,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
