Role Overview

You will lead the end-to-end subcontracting lifecycle for major offshore and onshore energy projects. Your role focuses on ensuring that all subcontracted services are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with Lamprell’s HSES and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute subcontracting strategies for complex Oil & Gas/Renewables projects.
• Pre-Award Management: Oversee bidder pre-qualification, ITT (Invitation to Tender) preparation, and technical/commercial bid evaluations.
• Negotiation: Lead high-value contract negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms and ensure back-to-back risk alignment with prime contracts.
• Post-Award Administration: Manage contract changes, variations, claims, and progress payments.
• Performance Monitoring: Drive subcontractor compliance with schedules, quality benchmarks, and safety regulations.
• Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary link between subcontractors, project management, engineering, and legal teams.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (Master’s/Contract Management certification is a plus).
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of Oil & Gas EPC contracts (e.g., Aramco/ONGC standards are highly valued).
• Skills: Strong proficiency in commercial risk assessment, claims management, and negotiation.
• Soft Skills: Excellent English communication and leadership capabilities to manage multidisciplinary teams.
