In-country is a British education management company that was launched in 2016 and now has a team of fifty people across Delhi, Mumbai, Lahore, and the UK. We manage the South Asian student recruitment operations of multiple blue-chip international universities as well as work on creative and exciting projects for many others.
In-country is looking to appoint a Student Recruitment Lead to work as part of our dedicated team for our client, the University of Liverpool.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to develop expertise in international student recruitment, outreach, communications, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving student recruitment activities across India by engaging with prospective students, schools, counsellors, and education partners, while supporting the University's strategic recruitment objectives.

- To maintain public status as an employee of In-country India and not as an official of the University of Liverpool at all times.
- To attend education exhibitions to meet with potential University of Liverpool applicants and guide them on the University's courses and entry requirements.
- To support the Manager for the University of Liverpool account at In-country in the rollout of In-country's strategy to deliver the student recruitment goals for the University, in line with the company's services to the University.
- Reaching out to offer holders and prospective students through calls and email campaigns.
- To manage and co-ordinate with the conversion team of The Liverpool University Account
- Creating opportunities for the University of Liverpool to develop university partnerships in India by researching potential partners and introducing those potential partners to the University.
- Overseeing data capture from events and agents, ensuring the GDPR-compliant storage and transfer of data between In-country and the University of Liverpool. Ensuring that leads gathered from events are appropriately stored on In-country's lead monitoring sheet and then followed up with the aim of converting enquiries into applications, offers, and acceptances.
- Contribute to the execution and planning of the conversion, agent outreach, school outreach, and marketing strategy.
- Plan and conduct events targeted at offer holders and enquirers to support In-country's conversion strategy for the University.
- Support departmental visits to India by University of Liverpool staff by organising in-country recruitment activities and providing logistical support for travelling staff.
- Rolling out In-country's agent communications strategy for the University of Liverpool.
- Maintaining a generic India email account to cater to student and agent queries and to escalate issues (via the In-country Account Manager) to University officials where necessary.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with schools, universities, agency partners, and other key stakeholders in India.
- Undertaking market research and providing market intelligence on the Indian market to the wider International Recruitment Team based at the University of Liverpool to support the University's wider marketing and communications strategy.
- Identifying and targeting schools across India to increase the University's brand visibility. Engaging with school counsellors and delivering sessions for students to increase interest in the University's undergraduate programmes.
- Planning and conducting events targeted at offer holders and enquirers to support In-country's conversion strategy for the University.

- Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification/relevant professional experience) with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in higher education.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent public speaking skills, with the ability to present to and influence large audiences.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects.
- Data handling skills with the ability to analyse large datasets, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional attitude with the ability to engage with and establish strong working relationships across all levels, including internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to use initiative to solve problems and think quickly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to undertake extensive travel within India.
