Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Gain in-depth knowledge of scholarship and admission processes across multiple countries.
Support students in securing admissions and scholarship opportunities for international higher education.
Assess student profiles to understand their academic background, goals, and application requirements.
Identify and shortlist suitable universities and scholarship programs tailored to each student.
Draft compelling scholarship essays and Statements of Purpose (SOPs) on behalf of students.
Monitor, track, and manage application timelines and deadlines for an assigned student portfolio.
Communicate regularly with students via phone and email, dedicating approximately 3–4 hours daily to calls.

About Company: WeMakeScholars is a Hyderabad-based fintech startup specializing in education loans and scholarships. Established seven years ago, we collaborate closely with major banks and NBFCs in India, including SBI, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank, to simplify the education loan application process for students and parents. While we do not directly provide loans, we ensure a seamless and hassle-free experience. As market leaders in the education finance segment, we currently partner with over 14 financial institutions, a number that continues to grow. Last year, we facilitated the disbursement of approximately 10,000 crore in student loans, and we anticipate even higher volumes this year.
