Job Title: Structural Engineer

Location: Madurai

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with 5-7 years of professional experience to lead and deliver structural design and analysis for a wide range of projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant designs.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, wood and composite structures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
Perform static and dynamic analysis with international standards.
Prepare and review structural calculations, design drawings, and technical reports.
Lead design activities for assigned projects and ensure timely delivery within budget and quality requirements.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and other stakeholders.
Provide input to structure BIM and rebar team as per the design calculations.
Review General Arrangement drawings, shop drawings and respond to RFIs.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Peer review and design validation.
Support value engineering, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and technical discussions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
5–7 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of structural design codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE7, Eurocodes, IS codes).
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, IdeaStatiCa, SAP2000, Enercalc, RISA-3D, RAM Connections).
Experience working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, coordination and client handling abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience in leading project teams or acting as a discipline lead.
Exposure to international projects and standards.
Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit or Tekla is an advantage.
Experience in design of Commercial structures, Industrial structures, Data Centre structures, Precast Concrete, Post tension slabs, Prestressed Concrete, Bridges and Water tanks are preferred.
