Strategy Analyst / Business Analyst – Real Estate (IPC)

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: City Managing Director

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic professional to join our team as a Strategy Analyst / Business Analyst. The role will work very closely with the City MD and act as a key strategic support function for the revenue, leasing, and advisory teams.

The individual will be responsible for business strategy, performance dashboards, market intelligence, and strategic analysis, helping leadership take data-driven decisions and identify growth opportunities within the real estate market.

Strategic Planning & Business Insights

• Work closely with the City MD to develop and execute city-level business strategies aligned with revenue and growth objectives.
• Provide strategic inputs, market intelligence, and data-driven analysis to support leadership in critical business decisions.
• Identify new business opportunities, emerging sectors, and expansion opportunities within the real estate market.

Business Performance & Revenue Analytics

• Develop and maintain business performance dashboards, pipeline tracking, and revenue analytics for the city business.
• Prepare periodic business performance reports and presentations for leadership, synthesising key KPIs across business verticals such as leasing, capital markets, and advisory.
• Support revenue teams by analysing deal pipelines, sector performance, and client opportunities.

Market Research & Strategic Analysis

• Conduct market research, sector analysis, and competitor benchmarking to support strategic planning and client advisory.
• Evaluate market opportunities, investment trends, and asset performance across key real estate segments including commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments.
• Support advisory and investment teams with strategic analysis for potential asset acquisitions, client mandates, and expansion strategies.

Financial Analysis & Feasibility

• Support financial modelling, feasibility assessments, and investment analysis for potential real estate transactions, advisory assignments, and strategic projects.
• Analyse risk-return dynamics and market viability of proposed opportunities.

Leadership Support & Strategic Projects

• Work closely with the City MD and senior leadership team on strategic initiatives, special projects, and city-level business planning.
• Coordinate with business heads and department leaders to track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely reporting on strategic initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience: 3–7 years in Strategy, Consulting, Business Analytics, or Corporate Strategy roles.
• Education: MBA / PGDM from a reputed institute preferred.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools such as Power BI / Tableau.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable strategic insights.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior exposure to real estate, consulting, investment advisory, or IPC firms will be an advantage.
