Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Store Designer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This is a full-time position, ideal for individuals looking to grow and innovate within India's leading retail company. The candidate will be responsible for designing exceptional store layouts that align with our esteemed brand's standards, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications And Skills

• Proven experience in designing new store layouts and concepts to ensure optimal flow and aesthetic appeal (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in BOQ to ensure comprehensive evaluation of project costs and materials required.
• Ability to prepare detailed facilities layout and faade design, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and customer engagement.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating precise and detailed technical drawings and plans.
• Skills to prepare the merchandise layout, enhancing product visibility and accessibility for customers.
• Strong space planning abilities to maximize utility and efficiency within available store dimensions.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address design challenges promptly.
  
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Create and implement innovative store designs that align with the brand's strategic direction and enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to discuss design specifications and requirements.
• Ensure all designs comply with electrical, plumbing, and safety standards and regulations.
• Integrate feedback from customer studies to refine design solutions and improve store layouts.
• Conduct site visits as needed to oversee and coordinate construction activities based on design plans.
• Develop and present design concepts using digital tools and sketches to gather feedback and approvals.
• Coordinate with merchandising teams to place products and fixtures strategically within the store.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends and retail best practices, bringing fresh perspectives to projects.
