Job Description

Responsibilities

Accountable for receiving, warehousing and dispensing of raw materials and packing materials in coordination with Production departments.
Responsible for inventory control and effective utilization of manpower to meet production plan as per the schedule.
Responsible for good warehousing practices and SOP preparation, review and implementation.
Responsible for the planning of daily activities of warehouse.
Co-ordination with other functional departments, SCM / Purchase departments for the respective functions and activities and co-ordination with QC for material releases etc.
Responsible for safety of men, materials and equipment in warehouse department.
Responsible for proper handling of rejected/expired/returned goods of RM/PM/FG as per SOP.
Responsible for on-line documentation and responsible for SAP transactions.
Follow Personnel Hygiene practices and monitor Departmental hygiene.
Ensure cleanliness, maintenance of department, premises, and equipment.
Ensure the environmental conditions of all areas are maintained as per requirements.
Follow the Health, Safety and Environment policy of the organization.
Ensure proper storage, issuance, retrieval, and destruction of documents.
Responsible for job work and trading material Receipt, issuance, and accounting.
Ensure Receipt of RM/PM and engineering materials and tankers follows the SOP’s, issuance and allocation & relocation of material, physical stock taking and reconciliation.
Ensuring achievement of Quality objectives.
Involvement in risk assessment & self-inspection team.
To attend internal & external audits like Finance, Customer and ISO audits.
Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
