Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Stock Assistant role based in Bhuj. The Stock Assistant will manage daily stock activities, including receiving materials, verifying quantities against delivery notes, and organizing items in designated storage areas. Responsibilities include updating inventory records, monitoring stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and informing supervisors of any shortages or damages. The role involves regular manual handling of building materials, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, and coordinating with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of stock. The Stock Assistant will also assist with periodic stock checks and support continuous improvement of inventory and storage processes.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Stock Management and Inventory Control to track, record, and reconcile stock levels accurately.
• Candidates should possess skills in Inventory and basic record-keeping to update systems, labels, and documentation consistently.
• Candidates should possess Manual Handling skills and follow safety procedures when moving, lifting, and storing materials.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and other internal teams.
• Relevant experience in warehouse or store operations, preferably within building materials or related sectors.
• Ability to work on-site in Bhuj and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Basic computer literacy for using inventory software or spreadsheets is beneficial.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics, warehouse operations, or safety is an advantage.
