Job Description

  • Sound experience in EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) operations in carbon & alloy steel plants
  • Experience in stainless steel making will be an added advantage.
  • Needs to have good working knowledge about furnace refractory repair in hot and cold conditions.
  • Independent handling of the shift during operation
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Shall be conversant in ERP and MS Office
  • Shall have adequate know-how about the safety for EAF operations.
  • Need to have good understanding on operations to reduce power consumption and yield improvement in the heat.
  • Good know-how about the workplace management system.
  • Shall have analytical mindset to address quality and operation issues.
  • Should have experience working into LF/VD

Qualification - Diploma or BE (Metallurgy)

Location - Hazira, Surat
