Role Description The Staff Nurse Emergency will provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including rapid assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring of patients with acute and critical conditions. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments as prescribed, assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ensuring timely documentation of patient status and interventions. The role also involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, educating patients and families on care plans, and adhering to infection control and safety protocols. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Batra Heart & Multispeciality Hospital in Faridabad, requiring flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Nursing and Emergency Nursing, with the ability to manage acute and trauma cases.
  • Knowledge of Medicine and Critical Care Medicine relevant to emergency and intensive care settings.
  • Demonstrated competence in Patient Care, including assessment, monitoring, and compassionate support.
  • Recognized nursing qualification (GNM/B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) and valid nursing registration with the appropriate council.
  • Previous experience in an emergency department or critical care unit is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations, prioritize tasks, and make quick, well-informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to ethical practice and patient safety.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts and participate in ongoing clinical training and skill development.
